Students of Nguviu boys in Embu North sub county went on rampage smashing widow panes in their classrooms.
This was after they were allegedly denied permission to eat directly from the sufuria. Embu North Education Officer Thomas Omwenga said the students for the last few days had been planning to burn one dormitory to express their anger on issue of food.
Omwenga said seven students sneaked out of school and bought petrol which they were intending to use to set the dormitory on fire.
Nguviu Boys is an academic giant in the county and the strike has shocked many as most schools looked up to it.
