Eldoret, Kenya: Three people died on the spot along Eldoret-Kapsabet road after a motorbike they were riding on was hit by a bulldozer.
The horrible incident occurred Thursday afternoon after a vehicle that was overtaking hit the motorbike and threw the three occupants, in front of the oncoming bulldozer.
"There was a vehicle heading to Kapsabet and was overtaking when it the motorbike. The rider and his two passengers fell on the road and were crashed by the heavy machine," Sarah Nafula, an eye witness said.
Grief-filled onlookers watched in horror as the three remained stuck under the heavy steel rollers of the machine.
Police and the fire fighters had a hard time trying to retrieve the bodies as curious residents thronged the scene.

The driver of the road compactor fled the scene immediately after the accident.
Bodies of the deceased were taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary.
