NAROK: Several people are feared dead after flash floods hit Narok town sweeping away residents, domestic animals and cars. The floods are said to originate from River Narok which burst its banks after a heavy downpour.
A witness said the floods have swept away more than ten vehicles.
A one-storey building in the town has also collapsed with an unknown number of people feared trapped inside.
Following flooding at Enkare-Narok bridge transport along Nakuru-Narok Road has also been cut off.

Police have confirmed receiving reports of “very serious flash floods in Narok” but said there was no immediate information on the extent of the damage.
Last year four people lost their lives due to a similar flood.
