Eldoret, Kenya: Moi University students staged protests at the Eldoret-based institution after one of them was raped, killed and body dumped near one of the hostels.
The body of the third year student in the school of arts and social sciences.was Sunday morning found near one of the University’s hostels.
The gruesome killing of the female student has sparked protests, demanding justice for their slain comrade.
Students blocked police from picking the body and have since involved them in running battle.
Anti-riot police have been deployed at the scene.
