Never trust women with money

It’s a fact. Give a man and a woman an equal share of money and by morning, the woman will have blown hers on a pair of red high heels shoes a size too small for her.

The money wasting nature of women is the reason I believe that were banks to release national savings account statistics, women would be at the bottom of the list.

This is not to suggest that women don’t save. They actually do even though no one will ever know where they hide it. Besides, they never save their own money. Their strategy is to drive men into paying all their bills and then shoot off when the sorry fool runs into debt.

Even in marriage, many women never dip a finger into their own purses. And yet these are the women who are always pushing their husbands to buy a bigger fridge, a bigger plasma TV, a bigger car — everything bigger than what their best friend owns.

Fittingly, the devil works in mysterious ways. It’s women who always lose the money they hoard while their husbands run into debt to racketeers.

Pyramid scheme

This is not hearsay. If you recall, the largest group of people who lost millions of shillings a few years ago in the infamous pyramid schemes were mostly women. And they were not even your average illiterate women, but highly educated and influential women in society.

That’s how it is. A woman with money is like an impatient monkey with a loaded gun. The things she will do and buy will leave you wondering if someone might have bewitched her.

That’s why a wise man has to know better than to reveal to a woman how much money he has in the bank or pocket. A wiser man never allows his woman to as much as glance at his pay slip.

Even when writing a Will, a wise man shouldn’t entrust his estate solely in the hands of a woman, but alongside two or three male trustees.

It will be for her own good anyway. Many widows have been left destitute after feasting through huge financial empires in record time as soon as the head of house died by making one financial blunder after another.

No wonder divorced women demand Sh60,000 monthly for choice meat in alimony — this a from a guy who never buys more than a ‘quarter’ in the bar.
