Three teams are locked in a tough competition to wrestle the title as the Chairman’s Cup Polo Championships commenced at Nairobi Polo Club on Saturday.
The teams are Governor’s Camp, Out of Africa and Samurai.
Each of them won a match and lost another to tie at three points from two matches with a similar goal aggregate.
The teams have scored two goals and conceded one in the two matches.

All matches played on Saturday were two chukka matches ahead of four chukka matches when the tournament proper gets underway this morning in knockout stages.
In their first match, Governor’s Camp secured a 2-1 victory against Out of Africa with handicap 2.5 Jules Camm and Natasha Tisminieszky putting the ball through the sticks in each of the two chukkas.
Out of Africa avenged the defeat by dismissing Samurai by a similar 2-1 scoreline in their second match to make a comeback in the race to qualify for the knockout stages.
