Manchester United have snapped up young goalkeeper Theo Richardson, report the Manchester Evening News.
Following a spell at Leeds, the 18-year-old joined the club on trial earlier this year and made his debut in the mini Manchester derby at the Etihad in March.
The Lincoln-born stopper impressed in the 2-2 draw and made a series of acrobatic saves at the death as both teams went in search of a winner.
Richardson continued to catch the eye despite stiff competition and was named on the bench for the under-23s’ penultimate game of the season against Arsenal.

Richardson now has a profile on the club’s website - which confirms he has joined Kieran McKenna’s side on a permanent basis.
