Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) women champions Nairobi Water defeated National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) 32-18 in the Super Cup final yesterday at Nyayo Stadium.
The two-time East and Central Club Champions, who easily defended the national league for the fourth consecutive time last season, added another trophy to their pile with the timely win at Nyayo. Nairobi Water coach Jack Sandan said his side started the match at a slow pace, but he was happy they held on to the final whistle.
"I have been with the team for the past two weeks, but I came in late for the match because I had other pressing engagements.
The win is great motivation ahead of the national league." [Rebecca Jebet]
