Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium has been evacuated ahead of the club’s Champions League clash against Barcelona tonight, according to The Sun.
Relevant authorities haven’t given the reason for the evacuation, but it is being reported that it was an “emergency”.
Fans took to social media to report that there were “alarms going off” as hundreds stood out in the cold ahead of the crunch clash.
Man City lost the away leg 4-0 in Spain and are second in Group C, one point in front of Borussia Monchengladbach.
Sergio Aguero is expected to start Etihad’s clash, and right-back Pablo Zabaleta could be available.
