| Emmanuel Frimpong |
Emmanuel Frimpong has told Arsene Wenger he wants to leave Arsenal before the close of the transfer window – because of a lack of game time.
Several Premier League and Championship clubs, and some foreign sides, are thought to have made enquiries about signing the Ghana international.
The midfielder, who is a product of Arsenal’s academy setup, was tipped for a bright future after breaking into the first-team squad.
But after a number of injury problems combined with failed loan spells at Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, he has found himself down the pecking order.
And according to Sky Sports, the 22-year-old has made it clear to Wenger he wants a permanent exit this month – and the offers are already flooding in.
