A feud is brewing as Mr Seed and Parroty clashed over the ownership of the song Kanairo released by the former.

Mr Seed who brought on board Jegede, Trio Mio, Only One Delo and Vdj Jones in the song has come out to refute claims that he stole the song from Parroty, adding that he had been forced to respond to the matter.

"I am not the type of person to address online matters, I normally sit back and enjoy the show. But for this one I feel it's a disrespect to my craft," he says.

Mr Seed emphasised that he has always relied on his own talent and creativity, pointing out that he has made numerous hit songs without copying anyone.

"First of all, I have been making hits since high school, do you know how many years are those? I have been relevant and putting in work. Now I put in my money and investment and everything and when the songs drops, someone comes in and says I stole his song, I have never stolen any song from anyone. I have never. I am creative and doing my things over the years," Mr Seed shared on Instagram.

Mr Seed further expressed his disappointment and said he feels deeply disrespected by Parotty's claims.

"Coming to say that I stole your song is a disrespect to my craft and me as a person. I have never gone online to talk about other people. The mature thing was to reach out and we talk. For the song Kanairo, it is out and people are loving it," he stated.

However, Parroty says he was shocked when he song online, produced by Jegede, the same producer he had done the track with.

"I was chilled at home then I saw Mr Seed had uploaded a song on Youtube called Kanairo. Let me tell you something about it. I did this song in 2022 with Jegede. I have many songs recorded at various studios for future release when I feel the time and vybe is right. I recorded it with Jegede and he is my witness, even when you listen to the song, the chorus is mine and they have not even removed my voice in it," he revealed.

Parroty who rose to prominence at the height of gengetone, claimed that his song was also a collabo, an idea that the former gospel might have also copied from him.

"When Jegede asked me to who else will be part of the song and I called my boys from Wanati Family and they mashed it up. Fast forward, I now see that Mr Seed has recorded with other artistes but they did not remove my part of the chorus," he stated on an online video posted on his socials.

"So I'm asking myself, how have people become so desperate that he went to the studio and yet he could not reach out to me and ask me about it," the Lewa hitmaker added.
