Born Belcalis Almanzar and professionally known as Cardi B, the 25-year-old American rapper has confirmed that she did marry Offset of Migos in a secret wedding, September last year.
Offset, 26, sparkled speculation of their marriage when he referred to Cardi B as his wife during the BET Awards 2018 while accepting the Best Group award together with his fellow Migos star, Quavo.
The remark set social media ablaze with fans curious to know whether the two tied the knot secretly.
Taking it to social media, the pregnant rapper disclosed that there are particular moments of her life she prefers to keep them to herself.
“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married. Revealing details of her secret wedding, Cardi B who is also the first woman to have five top 10 singles simultaneously on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart, had no wedding dress or any invited guests during her big day. The two woke up one day and decided to wed.
“I said I do, with no dress no makeup and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!! Well now since you lil nosey f**** know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock," she posted.
