By mid this week, Tanzanian singer Ray C had received 700 marriage offers after putting it on her profile the man she wanted for a husband by saying she loves President Uhuru Kenyatta "to death".
"Lemme tell you a lil secret about Uhuru! I love this guy to death! I have had a crush on him for so long!" Ray C whose real name is Rehema Chalamila posted on her Instagram.
"I love everything about him. His accent, his attitude. Total package" the singer said, adding that she dreams about the Kenyan president every day.
And even as prospective suitors jammed her social media pages asking for her hand in marriage all week, Ray C kept her focus, ignoring all with a warning: "I am not looking for a husband via Internet".
The Moto Moto singer, who is now leading efforts in fighting drugs after recovering from drug addiction herself, warned that any man who cannot cook for her or who wants her to lose her weight is not husband material.
