Giant birds have turned the University of Nairobi main campus into a nest, making life unbearable for students.
The Marabou storks reportedly perch on a tree outside American Wing, defecating uncontrollably on passers-by.
Affected students told Campus Vibe the birds have not spared the well-manicured flowers, walls and even public road users.
The birds perch on a tree next to a road connecting University Way to Kijabe Street. “At times they flock this tree,” a student said.

A security officer at the university told Campus Vibe that students have complained about the birds. “We are ever chasing them away from here. In fact that tree has been pruned to push them away from the vicinity,” said he.
