Lupita has been in a relationship for 6 months and not with Jared Leto!

Lupita Nyong’o has been America’s sweetheart after her whirlwind victory in practically every award she was nominated for. The fact that she never missed on the red carpet sealed her fashionista status.

Thus it comes as no surprise that the media unrentlessly digs around her private life. So far, the world was convinced that Lupita and fellow Oscar winner Jared Leto were romantically involved.

However, according to US Weekly, Lupita has been dating Somali-born rapper K’Naan since September.

Rumors had been swirling about a relationship when K’Naan and Lupita were spotted walking hand in hand with the rapper holding her Oscar in the other arm. This was after a special post Oscars interview.

The two stars apparently share the same passion for humanitarianism and issues affecting Africa.

The Wavin' Flag star, whose real name is Keinan Abdi Warsame, has 2 kids with ex-wife Deqa Warsame. Sources say that Lupita is yet to be introduced to rapper’s kids.

Lupita is yet to address the report of this rumored relationship. But we got to admit, the two do look cute together.
