She's half way there! Rihanna covers up her body to perform in the Middle East... but keeps her raunchy dance moves intact
It's the capital of the United Arab Emirates, a Muslim country with strict dress standards.
So when Rihanna prepared to perform in the Middle Eastern city of Abu Dhabi she sensibly chose to cover up her body.
But while her demure outfit displayed a serious lack of flesh, the pop star was only halfway there - with her raunchy dance moves making no concessions to local culture.
The Barbadian bombshell took to the stage on Saturday night almost entirely covered up in a head-to-toe white ensemble, which seemed to be her second attempt for the day to respect traditional dress codes.

Rihanna wore an interesting pair of incredibly baggy white track pants over the top of a tight white tank top, managing to put her own cool spin on the dress code.
She strutted about the stage in white hi-top boots and covered her head with a cap laden with layers of white fabric, flowing all the way down her back as it perhaps attempted to put a style twist on traditional Middle Eastern head attire.
Initially, a sheer white garment that very much resembled a raincoat covered the Pour It Up singer's arms, but she ditched it when things got hot and sweaty.
In spite of the relatively conservative attire, Rihanna left no holds barred when it came to her typically raunchy dance routine.
Earlier in the day, however, she went to much greater lengths to ensure that a photo shoot remained within respectable realms in light of the local culture, in which women tend to be required to cover up their bodies.
