A sleepy village in Kiambu was thrown into mourning after they woke up to the body of a construction worker lying in a pool of blood in the middle of their shopping center.
The body of the deceased identified as Stanley Maina Wabuu, 38, was discovered by early shoppers who alerted police at the nearby Ndeiya police station.
Upon combing the scene for clues and leads the police arrested two suspects believed to have been with the deceased.
They are helping the police with investigations. The deceased works at the Nearby Shengli construction company and is said to have been drinking at a local pub bar in company of friends.
