Police have arrested three suspects linked to fraud scheme in which traders have lost money.
They were arrested in Kericho and Eldoret where tens of SIM cards were recovered.
The officers also recovered mobile phones belong to the suspects. According to a source, one of the suspects had been an employee of a company offering MPesa services.
Upon losing his job, he started targeting his former customers.

“One of the customers lost close to Sh100,000,” said the source. Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru said the three would face various charges.
