A police officer was on Tuesday night killed by suspected bandits who raided Mlima Jangili police post in Githiga ward, Laikipia west.
In the incident, another officer was injured and three others missing.
The whereabouts of three other colleagues based at the police post remains unknown after they fled following the attack.
County Commissioner Joseph Kanyiri yesterday held a security meeting and maintained that more officers had been deployed along the Laikipia-Baringo border.
