Detectives drawn
from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Uasin Gishu county on Saturday,
July 11, arrested two terror suspects among them a foreign national.
The terror
suspects were nabbed after a combined effort of the DCI Anti-Terrorism
Police Unit (ATPU) and The Special Services Unit (SSU).
After conducting an operation within Chepkatet village, in Kapsaret Sub-County, the detectives arrested Mohamed Ahmed Bisher, 59 and a foreign national Nasanga Ibrahim, 68.
During the operation, the detectives recovered assorted explosives, detonators, detonating cords, safety fuses and boosters.
