Two diplomats have this evening been involved in a road accident, after the cars they were travelling in collided head-on along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Zambian ambassador to Kenya, Brenda Mudenda sustained injuries after her Toyota Prado which was being driven towards Nairobi collided head-on with a trailer.
Two other occupants in the car, Wasa Kaluwe, 30 and Joseph Guttu -both working with the Zambian high Commission to Kenya also sustained serious injuries.

Mudenda’s car collided head-on with an oncoming trailer while that of Botswana’s Duke Lephoko rammed into Mudenda’s.
The two are currently receiving treatment at the Machakos Level 5 hospital.
Governor Alfred Mutua who arrived at the hospital Tuesday 8.30pm said doctors were doing everything possible to stabilize the casualties.
The two diplomatic vehicles, registration 110CD1K and 2.54CD1K belonging to Botswana and Zambian High Commissions respectively were extensively damaged and towed to Athiriver Police Station.
