Arsenal has over the years suffered a not so good performance and one could attribute it to improper coordination on its attacking squad and midfield.
The signing of Alexander Lacazette who scored on exactly 14 minutes of his Arsenal debut seems to be taking Wenger’s squad up and running for a good show this season.
Lacazette scored at ANZ Stadium where Arsenal trounced Sydney 2-0 after captain Per Mertesacker’s goal in the 4th minute of the match.
Danny Welbeck nearly made it 2 goals up for the gunners at 54 minutes through a penalty but his take lacked venom and Redmayne saved it with a dive to his left. This was Arsenal’s first pre-season friendly.
Lacazette joined arsenal from Lyon.
