A powerful politician who has been calling the shots, we are told is now pegging all his hopes on being nominated.

This is after some realignment was done in his county where now all the odds have been stacked against him by the clan.

Sensing that he may not make it, the politician is said to have forced his way into the nomination list edging out two other colleagues who had been nominated earlier to represent the region.
