Bodies of two police officers who went missing four days ago while conducting operation in Laikipia Nature Conservancy have been found in Kamur area, Baringo South.
One of the bodies had physical injuries while another had been burnt beyond recognition.
Their uniform and fire arms are still missing but the bodies have been airlifted to Nairobi.
Nyahururu OCPD Ezekiel Chepkwony has confirmed that the two bodies were of the missing officers.
Last month 379 illegal grazers were arrested in Laikipia as part of efforts to ensure stability in the county.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery said the government had taken appropriate measures to ensure illegal grazers are removed and keep the raiders away from private farms and ranches.
“Additional security personnel have been deployed in operations to flush out illegal grazers and recover stolen livestock,” said Nkaissery.
