One of Joho’s friends has hinted that he want to oust him from his seat in the forthcoming General Election.

 Speaking in an interview with a standard Media Group journalist on Thursday , Suleiman Shahbal said that despite the two of them mingling in various forums as friends he feel there is need to take up his seat because of certain weaknesses that have seen Mombasa county remain behind in terms of development.

“ Joho is my friend, we mingle in many forums but the truth is that I want to throw him out of office and he knows it,” said Suleiman.

According to him the reasons behind him wanting to unseat Joho are as follows:

First and foremost he said that the governor had no clear agenda for Mombasa County as a leader and as the first governor of the county.

The second reason is that he alleged that Joho has not empowered the youths.He said that a good number of the youth are facing unemployment challenges with most of them taking drugs which render them unproductive in the society.

Thirdly he said that the current government of Mombasa County has raised tension between Muslims and Christians. He further said that the government is overcharging evangelist in Mombasa County.

Additionally, he alleged that Joho has left the county of Mombasa to be overrun by gangs and cartels who sell drugs to the youth.

Another reason is that he alleged that the county chief has not attracted investors who were supposed to help grow the county.

According to him if given the chance to lead Mombasa he will work hard to grow Mombasa economical and clear the mess in the county.

“ I will turn Mombasa into a Dubai and within 100 days, set the pace and clear the mess created by the current government,” said Suleiman
