The Constitution of Kenya, 2010 is one of the best constitutions in the world. It is a homegrown constitution that gives Kenyans hope for a better life as it is grounded in democratic principles.
As a democratic state, Kenya respects the rule of law and believes that the use of arbitrary power is anathema to the rule of law.
Now that the General Election is around the corner, let all adult citizens obtain all the necessary documents to enable them to exercise their democratic right come August 2017.
All Government institutions including IEBC must ensure that this is achieved without violence, intimidation, improper influence or corruption.
In every election, voter and civic education is necessary to ensure that men and women understand their rights.
