There is no doubt that Kenya is already in another divisive electioneering period given the hate speech and ethnic tensions that are slowly building up.
Vernacular TV and radio stations and social media are awash with hate speech while nothing seems to be taking place in curbing this vice.
Politicians and media personalities continue to vomit hate speech without care of the consequences.
As all this takes place, a commission charged with arresting such is doing nothing other than wailing and crying foul just like other ordinary Kenyans.
Politicians are busy inciting their supporters against their rivals with reports showing that some are even recruiting and training their 'armies'. This is not acceptable.

As a country, we must come out to shame and name the politicians who continue to engage in these vices and remind them that we cannot afford another spell of post-election violence.
