Procurement, Finance and Economic Planning, Land and Health departments are the most corrupt in Laikipia County.
A corruption risk assessment report compiled by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) indicated that the departments are prone to corruption which range from bribery, procurement irregularities, favouritism and embezzlement of public funds.
Speaking when presenting the report, EACC commissioner Ms Rose Mghoi noted that other departments prone top corruption are the Public Service Board, Human Resource, Roads, Public Works and Infrastructure.
"The service areas most prone to corruption are procurement processes, employment, recruitment, promotions, revenue collection, processes, licensing and registration and medical services, and there is urgent need to take preventive measures," Mghoi said.
