Protect girls from these beastly men

Girls just like boys have to be protected from all the social injustices they are exposed to. Human right activists have an obligation to start viewing this issue from a broader angle and see that truly girls need protection.

FGM, early pregnancies and marriages, defilement cases and many more are the injustices that girls experience each day.

The organisations where such cases are supposed to be reported do not make follow-ups thus exposing the girls to more suffering.

Recenly in Nyamira, a teacher defiled two pupils aged 12 and 14 after he tricked them into going to plant vegetables around his house.

In another incident, a 39-year-old man defiled a nine-year-old child in Eldoret. When will mature sane men stop defiling our young sisters and daughters? Where is the law that protects girls?
