Chief Justice proposal to audit officials welcome

The latest invitation by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga to have the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Auditor General conduct a lifestyle audit of Judiciary officers is a step in the right direction.

Notably, corruption in the three arms of Government has proved to be a deep-seated cancer thus becoming a hard nut to crack.

The corridors of Judiciary are littered with frustrated and desperate Kenyans waiting for the dispensation of justice.

It is in the public interest that the audit of all judicial officers is conducted in order to separate the wheat from the chaff.
