Kajiado, Kenya: High Court has declined to bar JAP from participating in Kajiado Central by-election.
Judge Isaac Lenaola said there was nothing to stop the new party as they had already nominated a candidate.
Lenaola said the people of Kajiado would suffer more if the party is stopped from participating in the by-election.
A voter had gone to court to stop the candidacy of Jubilee Alliance Party( JAP) Kajiado Central by election candidate Patrick Tutui.
The voter, applied at the High Court saying that the party cannot field a candidate in the by-election because it was not duly registered.
