NAIROBI, KENYA: Kenya Airways has been recognised as the Best Business Class Airline in this year's Africa World Travel Award, for the third year running.
The airline scooped the top award in the ‘Africa’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2015’ category of the WTA Gala Ceremony held on Saturday, June 20th, 2015, at the Kempinski Hotel, in Seychelles.
Kenya airways beat Egypt Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air Moroc and South African Airways.
Kenya Airways Chief Executive and Managing Director Mbuvi Ngunze welcomed the award and attributed the success to recent investments by the airline on its product offering.

“We have been investing heavily on our product in a bid to improve the customers’ experience. This award, the third year in a row, is a testament of the investments that we have made in the past couple of years in terms of our aircrafts and the service we offer our customers,” he said.
He noted the airline was committed to consistently delivering world-class service to its guests.
The airline's business class, called Premier World, offers exciting features including full flatbed seats, laptop stowage, armrests that also act as privacy dividers, high quality in-flight entertainment, USB port, power sockets and a wide range of in-flight catering among other features.
The World Travel Awards (WTA) is dubbed the ‘Oscars of the travel industry’ and is held annually. The awards were established in 1993 and reward outstanding achievements within the global travel industry.
