We have all heard the following tale. Man spends the night shacked up in a cheap motel room with a woman he picked up in a club. He is woken up by the shrill voice of a woman with morning breath the following day demanding for payment.
How have you changed in the past two years?Well, the sex was for sale. In his drunken stupor, he barely recalls clinching a deal with a woman for a quick romp. The amount she is asking for is ridiculous. He tries to negotiate, but she will hear none of it. A fracas ensues. She is determined to hang the man out to dry - you know what they say about a woman scorned?
In the end, the poor guy ends as the laughing stock of the nation. For lack of the ‘sex fee,’ the chump usually ends up parting with his phone to avoid further embarrassment.
That story might make for a good laugh during happy hour with the boys, but is it really worth all the trouble?
Is sex really that hard to come by, men have to buy it? I’d like to believe that women are a little bit more open-minded to no-strings attached sex and also independent enough to always ask for ‘cab fare’ after a good roll in the hay.
Even if your genes are working against you, I believe it is very possible to get laid without shelling out hard cash.
I am not, even for a second, underestimating the primal need to get laid. But for the life of me, I will never understand why a man would risk his reputation for 10 minutes of bliss (20 for those with excessive stamina).
I understand that we live in a sex-crazed era, but just how forlorn does your life have to be for you to resort to paying for sex?
It is pathetic! Men who sleep with prostitutes are just pathetic wimps who can’t trust their charm and game to get them some.
You can’t brag about how many women you have slept with if you are paying for it because, essentially, that is cheating! How about going about it the old-fashioned way? Put your best foot forward, and go out there. Get rejected. Try again. Eventually you will score. That will be a real ego boost, not to mention the fact that you would probably be less likely to get an STI. Men, stop wasting your lives for cheap thrills!
