The government has renewed commitment to secure Isiolo, parts of northern Kenya and other regions suffering lengthy insecurity, especially from bandits, Interior and National Government Administration CS Kithure Kindiki has said.

The CS visited a mother and children injured by bandits in the region, and said armed criminals had caused deaths of innocent people, but security personnel were ready to engage them.

He spoke at Kom on Monday accompanied by Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim and MPs Hassan Odha, Mohamed Tubi and Rehema Jaldesa.
