Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo

Taking to social media, outspoken Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo made public her plans of ending her childlessness and having a baby when she turns 53. She emotionally went ahead to show gratitude to God for giving her the ability to love children who are not her own.

''My childlessness does not affect me that much. God gave me a special ability to love children who are not mine. So I brought the law courtesy of their intervention. ( I am however toying with the idea of having a child when am 53 or 55. Sara did it at 100 anyway). '' Millie revealed.

The vocal Suba North MP made the revelation after a group of women reached out to her about childlessness. She lauded the women and urged them to continue using social media for the right reasons such as discussing important issues.

The controversial female MP also took the chance to appreciate the women saying she got touched and encouraged to sponsor a bill in parliament on Assisted Reproduction.

''Some women got in touch with me on being childless ( because am one, they thought i would be empathetic). Up until then I was not going to bring a law on Assisted Reproduction. I was touched by how women are very affected.'' She wrote.

In the lengthy post, the legislator also told off people who use social media for unimportant issues like making advances to her and other public figures arguing that they should instead use social media to raise real policy issues.

''When I was younger, reaching a policy maker was not easy. If I got an opportunity to reach one, which was rare, I would have a littany of real policy issues to raise with them. Now getting a policy maker is only a face book post or twitter away. Jothurwa- Sample how young people engage us inbox. Young man: I love you. I dream about you. Can we meet?
