Messi, 30, married his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo in a civil ceremony at a luxury hotel in the heart of Rosario.

A union he sealed with what is arguably the most awkward kiss in the history of humanity.

In a video doing rounds on social media, the Barcelona star is seen swallowing his new wife's face in what was supposed to be a kiss.

A kiss that has generated a lot of buzz on the internet.
