In most parts of the country, pupils seeking education have only to enroll in the school nearest to them, one that fulfills their expectations and attend it faithfully. However among pastoralist communities, always on the move, pupils only enroll in three-month periods until their communities move away, leading to a high drop-out rate. In light of this issue, organizations in the north have set up mobile schools that move with the communities. KTN’s Wilkister Nyabwa visited one such school in Bubisa, Marsabit district.
