After coming under fire over his apparent ambivalent stand on the draft constitution, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka today affirmed his support for the yes campaign but says he has reservations about the proposed constitution. The Vice President says the review process was rushed by parliament and regrets that the draft could not be amended in the house and feels that parliament should have enacted a referendum law that allows several options in voting for the draft. However, Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo ruled out any amendments after a day long meeting with the parliamentary select committee on constitution review. It was a view echoed by the committee of experts which went further to allege that such proposals as the one on multiple choices are meant to dilute support for the draft.
