I have become really good friends with the husband of one of my oldest friends. We all get along really well. We are constantly exchanging text messages and communicating on Facebook. I have developed strong feelings for him, and I think I love him. I would not act on them. The idea of backing off is becoming hard. Please help me.

You need to back off, he may be your closest friend, but he is someone’s husband. When dealing with someone’s husband or boyfriend, there must always be boundaries, unless you are ready for the worst; death.

My girlfriend’s ex bought her a car, should I worry?

I have been dating my girlfriend for about six months now. Before that she was engaged to a much older ex, but he broke off the engagement. However, she is still very close with him. It was her birthday last week, and he bought her a car as a gift. I honestly do not know if I can compete, even though she tells me I have nothing to worry about.

Please advise. Amos, Mombasa

For this relationship to have any hope or to work your girlfriend needs to cut off her relationship with her ex, otherwise you are simply wasting your time

 Always fighting my girlfriend

I am 21 and I have been in love with a girl since last February. Every time we disagree she tells me not to call her again. And when I do, she ignores my phone calls. But after some weeks have passed, and I call her, she picks up and we get back together. She always tells me that she loves me so much and that she would never break up with me. We disagreed again recently and she has gone quiet. We are always fighting and this worries me and I am starting to wonder if we can even grow in our relationship and maybe even get married in the future. Please help, I love this girl so much.

Give her time to cool off and then call her like you always do. But if you want a healthier relationship, you should start thinking about an exit plan. Because constantly fighting gets old very fast.

Feelings for a man my father’s age

I am attracted to my colleague who is more than twice my age. I have tried to fight the feelings but they are not going anywhere. He is a widower. Although we have a huge age difference, we have a lot in common. He has also told me that he wants to date me, but my friends are telling me it cannot work. Please help.

Why not give him a try, I mean you will never know otherwise. Plus kila mtu ana dawa yake and he could be yours
