Most of us grew up with the usual cabbage, kales and if you were lucky some spinach to complement meals.
But as you grow older and out into the world, you discover there are more ways of preparing and eating your veggies than the norm.
Take for instance salads, most people will eat salads in restaurants but never at home with claims that the ingredients are either too expensive or unavailable in local markets.
However, making a salad at home is quite simple and with the very ingredients, you already have on hand.
Here is how you can prepare a five-minute salad at home:

First, using a nonstick pan, fry your chicken in some butter, until it is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Then cut the pieces into cube sizes.
Next, cut your onions, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers into sizeable chunks preferably cubes and set them aside.
In a large bowl, add your roughly chopped your lettuce, chicken pieces, onions, cherry tomatoes, coriander and cucumbers and give it a nice toss.
Next mix in a teaspoonful of olive oil, a pinch of salt, some lemon juice and a dash of black pepper and mix together.
Serve on a plate with avocado slices on the side. Enjoy!
