On November 30, Karen Nyamu and her baby daddy, Samidoh, took to Instagram to unfollow each other, signaling possible challenges in their relationship.

The following day, she appeared in public to support him during the launch of his foundation in the evening, calling it a great moment and expressing gratitude for the support.

Speaking to YouTuber Vicki Vickinah about unfollowing Samidoh, Nyamu said, "Well, I mean ni kweli. There is something like that, but unajua saa zile kuna feelings, saa zile kuna watu wanapendana, clash hapa na pale, na ku overreact, na nini hazijosangi."

Nyamu said that this was not the first, nor the last time they would have issues with Samidoh saying that “it means nothing”

“At the end of the day we've been through the worst if you ask me. So I dont think kuna kitu hatuwezi solve."

Nyamu acknowledged the constant scrutiny of her life, saying, "It happens a lot when you are in the public eye, and people make their conclusions. Personally, I don't have a problem with it because this is what I signed up for, kuwa servant leader. So, all that criticism is welcome, and all that misjudging is welcome.

So at the end of the day, I am here. Hakuna mahali naenda. I believe that who you are always unfolds all the time. So at the end of the day, I am here, hakuna mahali naedna, Wakenya watanijua tuu pole pole."

Nyamu added that she has no problem supporting polygamy and that her partner Samidoh is too much for one woman to handle.

"I support polygamy cause kuna wanaume wengine kama Samidoh who are too much for one woman, manzee mbona unataka kua na chali wa nguvu tu pekee yako?" she said.

Further adding, "Sheria ya Kenya ya polygamy ambayo imepitishwa kwa bunge yetu inaruhusu polygamy, sijavunja sheria yoyote kukua katika situation mimi niko.”
