Terming a doctor’s report about her mum’s continued illness as ‘not so good’ a depressed Size 8 spent the better part of her week attending to her, putting behind her the hectic Monday that saw her husband arrested by traffic police.
It has not been such a good week for the young gospel couple of Size 8 and DJ Mo. On Monday morning as they were driving along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway they were arrested by police in a rough incident that saw DJ Mo thrown behind bars, allegedly for declining to cooperate with traffic officers over speeding claims.
“They (police) were so rude. They manhandled my husband (DJ Mo) and threw him in the police Land Rover before throwing him into the cells,” Size 8 said of the incident.
“They tried to chase me away but I told them I would not leave my husband. We later paid a Sh10,000 cash bail and we were set free,” she told Pulse.

According to DJ Mo, the police officers were asking for a bribe after stopping them near Naivasha town. However, Pulse cannot confirm these claims.
“I refused to pay a bribe for allegedly driving a car with tinted windows. I agreed to go to the police station but I refused to offer the police officer a ride as there is no law that states a police officer should drive in your car once he arrests you. My wife who had a camera captured the entire saga,” DJ Mo said.
