After 35 years of existence, Madhouse, Kenya’s landmark entertainment hub, iconically built above a petrol station and only existing disco house, closes its base at the Koinange red right district today, Pulse has confirmed.
In a mega party that will be graced by local and international celebrities, the establishment will make the official announcement tonight before it relocates to the nearby Harvest House to take the space that had been occupied by Timers Restaurant — a three level establishment.
“The space that had been occupied by Timers Restaurant is even bigger than Florida Madhouse, and we expect it to be better,” one of the establishment’s manager told Pulse.
“Renovations are underway. We will make the new spot the hottest entertainment base in the region,” he added.
Tonight’s party is a red carpet invite-only affair that will be held at Pahali Restaurant at Madhouse followed by a mega party that will feature surprise performances by local and international stars. There will also be a special dance show by Dotcom Chipukizi Dancers.
