A middle-aged couple were arrested after being spotted having sex in the middle of a town centre in front of shocked shoppers.
The 40-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested at a nearby pub after police received complaints a couple were having sex in a car opposite Oldham Town Hall.
Officers were called by stunned passers-by at around 12.50pm today.
It was claimed the pair were having sex on the back seat of the vehicle as it was parked outside the Royal Bank of Scotland, in the Greater Manchester town's Church Street, in broad daylight.
The couple had made their way to a nearby pub by the time officers from Greater Manchester Police arrived at the scene - just yards away from the busy Spindles Shopping Centre - a short time later.
