All is not well within the media fraternity in Mumias after a female journalist from a leading media house called an education harambee.
The lady, who is rumoured to be pregnant, texted top politicians and managers to send her money. She claimed she was raising funds to further her studies.
The harambee held late last year, realised a total of Sh200,000, which she used to buy household electronics and clothes!
The question on everyone’s lips is when is this expectant journalist going to college?
Or was this just a trick to extort money from people, among them a top politician’s wife?
