Celebrated choreographer and content creator Agnes Kiunga, alias Aggie the Dance Queen, has announced the arrival of her first child together with husband Oscar Mwalo.

Sharing the news on social media, the couple revealed that Aggie the Dance Queen went into labor for 24 hours before the arrival of their baby boy.

"12:15 am today 08/03/22 after 24hrs of labor, we welcomed a baby boy," Aggie shared on Instagram.

Expressing gratitude to her husband and Diana Marua, Aggie thanked the two for supporting her to the very last minute her baby made an entrance to the world.

“Sorry @Diana Marua for squeezing your hand so tight, @choreographeroscarmwalo thank you baby words are not enough. @BahatiKenya thank you for coming,” she added.

Sharing his experience in the labor ward, Aggie’s husband confessed that witnessing his wife go through such a painful process for hours made him consider C section on her next delivery.

“I didn’t know this thing would test me like this. C-section it is,” he wrote.

Choreographer Mwalo went on to add that experiencing labor firsthand pushed him to respect women even more. He took the opportunity to also wish their female fans and his wife a happy women’s day.

Happy women's day to you love @aggie_the_dance_queen and to all women out there, I experienced labor and delivery that made me respect y'all so much.

“It wasn't easy but we thank God we managed. Happy birthday @nairobihawi mum and dad love you @komarockmodern. Thank you,” he added.

Congratulatory messages for the two are still streaming in with local celebrities taking the lead.

Socialite Amber Ray couldn’t hold her excitement about the news of the arrival of the baby boy as she was among the first celebrities to congratulate the couple.

“Aaaaawww congratulations,” wrote Amber Ray followed by Milly WaJesus and Dj Mo who followed suit to congratulate the two.

Aggie and Mwalo first met during an audition with Sarakasi dancers while studying at Kenyatta University.
