Singer R Kelly is reportedly seeking permission to fly to Dubai to perform in multiple concerts.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the alleged sex abuser has asked the judge to grant him permission to fly on a private jet to the UAE, and perform a selection of concerts which he scheduled earlier last year.

Kelly's lawyer Steve Greenberg said he plans to file a motion to travel when he visits Chicago criminal court for his hearing on Friday.

R Kelly currently faces 10 counts of criminal sex abuse against four women, of which three were underage at the time.

The singer pleaded not guilty to the allegations, but has currently surrendered his passport.

“He needs to be able to work like anyone else who is free on bond, and the law needs to be adaptable,” his lawyer told the publication.

Greenberg added that he would act as a "chaperone" to Kelly if need be.

“If you can’t play a show, If you can’t go out on tour, they’re not streaming your music anymore, obviously you’re going to have financial problems,” he later said to ABC News.

Kelly's career has hit rock bottom since the most recent allegations against him, and the scandalous Lifetime documentary, Surviving R Kelly.

He was dropped by Sony Music earlier this year, after 30 years of working with them.

Plus, several stars including Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and Ciara have since pulled their collaborations with the singer and denounced his alleged actions.

His own daughter even took to social media to speak publicly against him recently, too, telling the public she is "devastated" at his alleged actions.
