Vesha Okello, Akothee’s eldest daughter, is now the Director of Akothee Safaris.
At only 21, Vesha is a director and shareholder of the company that her celebrity mother owns three years after the singer surprised her with a Mazda Demio after she turned 18.
“My baby @veshashaillanturns a year older 21 never felt so sweet, on your 21st birthday gave you 40% shares on Akothee safaris, so you can pay your bills ...but discipline is key,” posted the ‘Oyoyo’ hit maker.
True to her word, she took her daughter to her new office to get things rolling.
“Money Monday's, Officially introducing our new & youngest Director of AKOTHEE SAFARIS. Miss Vesha Shillan @veshashaillan to our business associates,” wrote Akothee.
The singer joked that she can now go on holiday while her daughter took charge of the company.
“When the director @veshashaillan received the first cheque for the beginning of the season, always a pleasure to work with YUANDA AFRIKA @akotheesafaris #madamdirector Haa now I can travel the world, please pay @rue.baby school fee first even before the beginning of the next semester, sitaki kesi katasi @akotheesafaris,’’ added Akothee.
Vesha’s Mazda Demio gift after she turned 18 was topped up with a new laptop and new wardrobe.
