DP William Ruto’s residence in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu County was attacked by unidentified armed assailants, moments after he had left for campaigns.
The attackers overpowered GSU officers guarding the DP’s residence as one officer sustained gunshot wounds.
Security officers, among them the highly specialized Recce Squad are currently on the scene.
