Nairobi's hottest matatu: Black Market is Dandora’s finest

For years, most mathrees plying the city centre- Dandora route had nothing to write home about.

They were all rusty and ‘boring’. But the tune has now changed with the arrival of sexy nganyas like the Black Market that is now on everyone’s lips.

 Its green colour and outstanding artwork finish is attracting a lot of attention.

Kevin Mwangi aka Mwas Mugabe, one of the Black Market’s crew told Ma3 Culture that he is happy to be associated with the mathree.

“This is one of the best mathrees on this route. The artwork, lighting and other features such as an X-Box attract many passengers.”

He added that, “Our business is to ensure passengers enjoy great service, quality music videos, free internet and at night, and a classic club environment with best lighting at night.”
